Westerner Park celebrated the completion of the ENMAX Centrium expansion with a Press Conference, and Ribbon Cutting ceremony showcasing the expansion on March 21, 2013.

The Centrium expansion is progressing very well, however the original projected completion date at the end of October has been extended.

The ENMAX Expansion has achieved great progress! As planned, the seating area will be finished by next week, as well as the re-installation of the hockey ice.

The ENMAX Centrium Expansion continues construction. The hockey ice was put in for the Rebel training camp and for the Black and White game, and has subsequently been removed for construction to proceed.

The ENMAX Centrium expansion is progressing very well, and is on pace to be completed on schedule, prior to the start of the Red Deer Rebels hockey season. Demolition is now complete, and crews are working on some key installations.

The Red Deer Rebels and Westerner Park are proud to announce another exciting addition to the expanded ENMAX Centrium. Starting this September, 100 feet of digital LED ribbon signage will be installed on the fascia of the newly created lower suite level. This signage is identical to that found ringing the lower bowl of both the Scotiabank Saddledome and Rexall Place.

Westerner Park President, Michael Donlevy, in association with the MLA for Red Deer South, Cal Dallas, The City of Red Deer Mayor, Morris Flewwelling and Red Deer County Mayor, Jim Wood, launched the official ground breaking of the ENMAX Centrium Expansion Project during a press conference at the ENMAX Centrium on Monday, April 16th.
