New to the Exhibition Hall is Dinosaurs Unearthed: Predator versus Prey!
Come face-to-face-to-teeth with 26 life-sized animatronic dinosaurs and over 20 fossils in this new and exciting exhibition. Find out which dinosaurs fought with each other, what kind of damage was done in the battles and how palaeontologists know that it happened. Meet some species from the Jurassic and the Cretaceous – and from around the world. Compare your weight, or the weight of your entire family, to a T. rex!
Dinosaurs Unearthed: Predator versus Prey introduces you to some species you may be unfamiliar with, the bizarre, feathered, big gutted Alxasaurus, a tiny, fierce Sinosauropteryx, and a loveable Mojoceratops. But the crowd favourite classic and iconic North American predators and prey are also present. Tyrannosaurus rex, Triceratops, Allosaurus, Stegosaurus and the giraffe-sized pterosaur, Quetzalcoatlus fight for attention with dinosaurs from South America, Asia and Africa.
Whether it’s staring up into the eyes of a feathered T. rex juvenile, getting your hands dirty playing palaeontologist while unearthing fossils from a dig table, or figuring out the differences between a Triceratops or a T. rex leg bone at the skeleton puzzle walls, Dinosaurs Unearthed: Predator versus Prey offers a unique and exciting learning experience of guests of ALL ages.
