Cowboy Kicks, a fundraising experience special guest Brett Kissel.

Uniquely Western, Cowboy Kicks is a fundraising experience where arts meets west. Through an exciting live auction, 8 packages featuring one-of-a-kind experiences and 4-feet high fibreglass cowboy boots, hand-painted by Albertan artists, will be auctioned off. There will also be 2-feet high, hand-painted fibreglass boots featured in the charity auction and a raffle. Guests will be treated to a hearty, western meal and beverage while enjoying an intimate performance from special guest Brett Kissel.

Restrictions Exemption Program in effect at Westerner Park

In response to the Alberta government declaring a state of public health emergency, Westerner Park has implemented the Restrictions Exemption Program, which requires one of the following for all people aged 12 and older:

  • Proof of completed COVID-19 vaccination through QR code (completed at least 14 days from an event's start date)
  • Negative COVID-19 PCR or rapid test, from a privately-paid testing provider, completed within 72 hours of an event’s start time
  • Formal documentation of a medical exemption as defined on the Alberta government's COVID-19 public health actions | Alberta.ca site.

Masks will also be required in compliance with Alberta Health Services guidelines. Anyone unable to wear a mask due to an approved medical condition will be asked to provide their medical exception letter (visit Alberta mask requirements for details).

An Alberta vaccine records with QR codes (paper or digital) is now the only valid Alberta-issued proof of vaccination accepted as of November 15, 2021. Please visit Westerner Park for more information.
