Thank you for your interest in seeking nomination for the Westerner Park Board of Directors. The following will help you to better understand the duties and responsibilities of our Directors, along with everything to assist you in submitting your application to run as a Board of Director Candidate.
Should you decide to proceed with submitting an application for nomination, please complete and submit the Director Nomination Form and supporting documentation. The deadline for nominations is Friday, March 4, 2022 at 4:30pm. If a candidate is not currently a shareholder, please also submit a Shareholder Application form. New Share Applications will be reviewed and approved at the March Board Meeting.

If successful in their nomination, nominees will be notified by email no later than April 8, 2022, and your photo and profile will be included in the Annual General Meeting Notice of Meeting package that will be mailed out to the shareholders no later than Friday, May 6, 2022.
We will be electing four (4) directors at our Annual General Meeting on Thursday, June 9, 2022. The meeting will be held in the Chalet, Westerner Park, 4847A - 19 Street, Red Deer, AB T4R 2N7.

Parking fees will no longer be charged for events happening at Westerner Park. Instead, a small facility fee on each ticket will be implemented. The new fee structure will lower the overall cost to guests while helping keep Westerner Park financially sustainable. Click here for more details.
