We’re happy to welcome everyone back to the Peavey Mart Centrium, home of the Red Deer Rebels.
As per AHS and Government of Alberta restrictions, no food and beverage items are currently permitted in the arena bowl or concourse. However, we have found a solution until the restriction is removed! During the game and intermission, fans can enter the Parkland Pavillion behind Section W, where canned beer/ciders/seltzers/soda, along with burgers, ice cream sandwiches, brisket sandwiches, and other items will be available. Seating is provided for 500 fans, via tables of 10. As per regulations, food and beverage must only be consumed at tables, and please keep your masks in place unless seated and eating. The space will be open postgame as well, with alcohol sales ending at 10:00pm.
We are thankful to have this opportunity to host Rebels fans, and anticipate this service being available until the restriction has been lifted.
The Government of Alberta has announced that the province is taking steps to return to normal and that public health restrictions will be lifted in 3 stages starting February 9, 2022.
As part of Step 1, the Restrictions Exemption Program has been removed, which means that proof of vaccination or a negative PCR/rapid test are no longer required.
Food and beverages will also be allowed in seats at the Peavey Mart Centrium.
Masks continue to be required in compliance with Alberta Health Services guidelines.
Anyone unable to wear a mask due to an approved medical condition will be asked to provide their medical exemption letter (visit Alberta mask requirements for details).
Capacity restrictions also remain in place for the time being. Visit Alberta Health for more information on the easing of COVID-19 measures.
Parking fees will no longer be charged for events happening at Westerner Park. Instead, a small facility fee on each ticket will be implemented. The new fee structure will lower the overall cost to guests while helping keep Westerner Park financially sustainable. Click here for more details.
