Sew Grateful Quilt Show

Come and enjoy a diverse range of quilts created by talented quilters from across Central Alberta.  Along with a variety of quilts, you will enjoy one stop shopping with over 40 vendors from across Canada, unique lectures and demonstrations that run throughout our two-day show, and a free trunk show each day.

Quilt Show Highlights:

Breakfast Guest Lecturer on Friday and Saturday - John MacPhail of Art East Quilting Co. will be featured. Includes hot breakfast buffet, interactive lecture/trunk show, and early entry to quilt show. John will also teach a class on Sunday May 14, 2023 (a perfect Mother’s Day gift!) Tickets available from Tickets Alberta.

Trunk Show on Friday and Saturday Afternoons by Tara Sinclair of Uh-Oh Creations.

Central Alberta Feature Quilters Cheryl Whitten and Anne Chong

Exhibit of 200+ exquisite quilts

30+ Vendors in our Merchant Mall

Guild Avenue – information about our guild and how to join, mobility aids for borrowing for the show, etc.

A chance to win one of two sewing machines - Brother Stylist NQ900 sewing machine donated by Red Deer Sewing Centre, or Bernina 475 Kaffe Edition donated by Al’s Sewing Machine Repair; or a beautiful framed cross-stitch.

    Please note, event details are provided by the event organizer and may change without notice. 

    Parking fees will no longer be charged for events happening at Westerner Park. Instead, a small facility fee on each ticket will be implemented. The new fee structure will lower the overall cost to guests while helping keep Westerner Park financially sustainable. Click here for more details.
