Celebrating Indigenous Youth: Reconnecting with Cultural Traditions

We invite you to attend our free community event. This event is an educational opportunity for both Indigenous and non-Indigenous community members to come together and honor Indigenous youth by bringing the rites of passage traditions from Knowledge Keepers and Elders into the public eye and celebrating their emergence into young adulthood. This is a small opportunity to sit in the beauty of Indigenous culture and experience tradition together in a good way.

Special guests Doreen Daychief and Sidney Beaverbones!

The event will begin with the women's rites of passage, break for provided lunch, resume with the men's rites of passage, and end with a giveaway.
