On Wednesday March 12, 2014 the 16th Annual Westerner Park Tarp Auction took place at Bellinis Sonic Lounge in the Sheraton Red Deer. Local businesses hitched themselves to 56 wagons.
In total $161,000 was raised for the Pony Chuckwagon drivers this year, with the average tarp auctioning for approximately $2,875. A huge thank you goes out to all of our returning, and first time sponsors. This event wouldn’t be the same without all of the support and excitement from our local central Alberta Businesses.
