This week, Westerner Park's equine stabling facility, Tent D, succumbed to structural failure and partial colllapse due to a tremendous snow load.

"Luckily the collapse occured sometime during the night on December 30th and the building was unoccupied at the time," says John Harms, Cheief Executive Officer, Westerner Park.

Westerner Park has notified its insurance company but has not yet received notification as to whether the damage will be covered. Tent D is insured for $700,000 but there is no current estimate on the damage.
