As a not-for-profit organization, so much of what we do relies upon the hard work and generosity of our volunteers.
Whether it's our Board of Directors, volunteer committees, or the people on the ground making each event happen, we wouldn't be anywhere without them. Westerner Park volunteers come from a variety of ages and backgrounds, and some have been with us for over thirty years! It takes over 200 volunteers working on approximately 21 committees to plan and organize Westerner Park produced events, so an extra set of hands is always welcome.
Volunteer opportunities at Westerner Park include becoming a board member, shareholder, committee volunteer or event volunteer.
Westerner Days Fair & Exposition is Central Alberta's largest summer celebration!
Westerner Days is orchestrated through the efforts of many dedicated volunteers working in conjunction with staff throughout the year. We pride ourselves on running a large and family-friendly event that reflects our Western roots and our uniquely Western hospitality.
Westerner Park volunteers are the backbone of our organization and one of the reasons why we have a deep sense of pride and spirit of accomplishment. Everyone who comes in contact with Westerner Park feels the vibrancy and excitement of an organization that believes that the hands of many can accomplish any task!
